She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Walter Kramer and Ella Mae Guffey-Kramer; her husband Rodolfo Ernesto Vela; and her sisters, Mary Joyce Thompson and Esther "Mickey" Laura Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Bissett, Ramon Walter Vela (Debbie), Becky Vela, Lisa Vela Swanson, Rudy Wauquin Vela (John Eagan) and Richard W. Vela (Dusty). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
