He is survived by: his children, Lino Hernandez (Criselda), Andres Cortinas (Bonnie), Isabel Cortinas and Sylvia Cortinas (Chris); his grandchildren, Lino, Paula, Christopher, Andres, Derek, Jason and Emily; and his siblings, Guadalupe Preston, Catalina Huerta, Teresa Escamilla (Ruben), Socorro Cortinas and Rosario Cavazos. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
