She is survived by: her daughter Claudia Garza (Horacio); her grandchildren, Aaliyah Garza, Isaiah Garza and Kayla Garza; her parents, Guadalupe Lopez and Evangelina Lopez; and her siblings, Gloria Rodriguez, Maria Luz Leon, Maria Zapata, Salvador Lopez, Lily Melchor and Dora Lopez.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home - Edinburg (208 E Canton Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish (216 W 1st St, San Juan, TX 78589). A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Val Verde Memorial Gardens (6200 N Val Verde Rd, Donna, TX 78537).
