She is survived by: her brothers, Ovidio, Jr. (Alma Delia), Jose Luis (Alicia), Dr. Sergio Garcia and Hector Hugo (Norma Linda). She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, and 16 grandnephews and grandnieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Mercedes (236 S Ohio Ave, Mercedes, TX 78570). A rosary was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (920 Anaquitas St, Mercedes, TX 78570-2204). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery (6705 FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78596).
