He was predeceased by: his siblings, Enrique Viruegas, Jose Viruegas, Concepcion Viruegas and Maruca Viruegas. He is survived by: his wife Magdalena Rodriguez Arronez; and his children, Carmen Viruegas, Jorge Viruegas, Jose Antonio Viruegas, Monica Viruegas, Arturo Viruegas, Alfredo Viruegas, Javier Viruegas, Magdalena Viruegas, Victor Viruegas, Silva Viruegas and Guadalupe Viruegas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home - Edinburg (208 E Canton Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
