He is survived by: his wife Gerdi Foster; his daughters, Silka Aaron (Rick) of Edgewood, Tanja Merliss (William) of Edgewood and Stefanie Staneart of Edgewood; his brother Loyd Foster (Susan) of Kaufman; his grandchildren, Daniel Smith, James Foster, Brianna Smith and Ron McElhose, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Carmen Smith, Mason Smith, Jacob Smith, Clay Foster, Chloe Foster, Kailey Foster and Emileigh McElhose. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
