With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Preston Goolsby of Edgewood, Texas, who passed away on June 18, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Preston Goolsby (Preston) and Amy Ida Haley Goolsby; his wife Dorothy Ruth Goolsby; his daughter Sherry Ruth Goolsby; and his siblings, Maurice Goolsby and Bennie Jean Funderburg.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan Teggatz of McKinney, TX; his brothers-in-law, Jim Jones (June) of Edgewood, TX and Wayne Jones (Jan) of Port Orange, FL; and his grandchildren, Haley Hancock (Jarett) of Prosper, TX and Matthew Teggatz of McKinney, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
