He is survived by: his parents, Mark Spencer and Mary Hicks Spencer; his spouse Elma Spencer; his children, Michael Spencer, Gerald Stanford, Sherry Brooks, Elysa Wilson and Jerry Milton (Charlotte); his grandchildren, Charles Wilson, Chase Wilson and Christy Smith; and his brother Billy Joe Spencer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
