Annie Aldora Mathis Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Annie Aldora Mathis of Edgewood, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert Kines and Gladys Kines (Melton); her husband Clarence Mathis; her siblings, James William Kines, Connie and Alberta; her children, Duane Mathis (Mary) of Mesquite and Geneva Benton (Lee) of Scurry; her grandchildren, Patsy Salters of Mesquite, Jack Mathis (Shauna) of Nebraska and Randall (Bryan) of Virginia; and her great great grandchildren, Jackie Jackson (Brian) of Denison, Clayton Salters of Mesquite, Angela Roberts (Kason) of Tyler, Amber Horn, Cheyenne Mathis of California and Dakota Mathis. She was also cherished by her parents and among several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, old friends, her brother and 1 sister.

In late Parkinson's my mom would care and feed the children as she had in life, often refusing (in her confused state of mind) to eat until the children had been fed.
