She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Benson and Margaret Bradford Benson; her daughters, Evalon Kathryn and Karen Ranae Yates Lagrasta; her son-in-law Douglas Hale; and her sisters, Ramona Benson (Joe Cooke), Helen Benson Landers and Lila Benson (Bob Baron).
She is survived by: her husband James D. Yates of Eden, Texas.; her daughter Diana Yates Hale; her son-in-law Steve Lagrasta; her grandsons, D. J. Hale (Nicole), Derrick Hale (Jessica), Dalton Hale, Michael Lagrasta and James Lagrasta; and her great grandchildren, Aidean Rainey, Madeline Yates Hale, Savannah Renee Hale and Riley James Hale. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
