He was predeceased by: his brother Harold Steenbock; his wife Elizabeth Bonnet Brinsmade; and his former wives, Carolyn Hartman Brinsmade and Susannah Tucker. He is survived by: his significant other Senior Counsel of Porter; and his daughters, Christine Tillman of Wimberley and Louisa Brinsmade of Austin. He is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Brinsmade's family and friends suggest that contributions may be made in his memory to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church addressed to P.O. Box 1709, Wimberley, TX 78676.
