He is survived by: his sons, James Mathis (Laura) of Spring, Michael Mathis (Andrea) of Montgomery and Frank "Hanke" Prosise, Jr. (Carrie) of Livingston, Texas; his sister Edna Carnine (Mike) of Eden, Texas; his grandchildren, Chad, Kristen, Chase, Blake, Kaden, Madison and Savannah; and his great grandchildren, Haven, Max, Liam, Emma and Jace. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
