She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Merz and Alwina Merz; her husband Leon V. Hoehne; her sisters, Rayna Foerster (Leroy), Ruby Fritz (Atlee) and Hazel Bodza (Frank); her brother-in-law Harvey Hoehne (Evelyn); her nieces, Diana Thompson and Debbie Baker; and her nephew Brian Bodza.
She is survived by: her daughter Martha Hoevel (Mike); her grandson Brandon Hoevel of New Braunfels; and her siblings, Evelyn Haas (Ewald) of New Braunfels and Erwin Merz, Jr. (Barbara) of Lubbock, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Memorials may be given to Hope Hospice of New Braunfels, St. Paul Lutheran Church, or the charity of one's choice.
