She was predeceased by: her husband Ascencion Villarreal; her son Manuel Villarreal; her siblings, Vicenta Medina, Sabina Medina, Maria Medina Gutierrez, Roberto Medina and Martin Medina; and her grandchildren, Victor Villarreal, Adriana Hernandez, Sandra Hernandez and Jessica Villarreal.

She is survived by: her children, Maria Ines Cervantes (Marcelino) of Eddy, Rita Hernandez (Cesareo) of Moody, Juany Victorino (Jorge) of Eddy, Macario Villarreal (Regina) of California, Jose Miguel Villarreal (Maria Elena) of Dallas and Jose Guadalupe Villarreal (Maria Socorro) of Eddy; her sister Modesta Medina of San Antonio; and also Eulogia Ortiz of Chicago. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
