He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Guzman and Tomasa Guzman; his son Tereso Guzman, Jr.; and his siblings, Crisoforo Guzman, Flavio Guzman, Antonio Vasquez and Elida Rivera (Pedro).
He is survived by: his wife Margarita Guzman; his children, Gabriel Guzman (Teresa), Sylvia Guzman, Nora Guzman Lopez (Rolando), Alma Rosa Guzman (Olivia Rivera) and Ileana Guzman; and his siblings, Julio Vasquez, Teodora Leal (Cecilio) and Teresita Rodriguez (Daniel). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
