She was predeceased by: her parents, Dionicio Lugo and Natividad Lugo; and her brothers, Francisco Lugo Reyes and Rogelio Lugo Reyes. She is survived by: her husband Emilio V. Islas, Jr.; her children, Albert E. Islas and Nora Islas; and her siblings, Pedro Lugo Reyes, Gabriel Lugo Reyes, Rosalia Lugo Reyes (Benjamin Gomez), Maria Nieves and Rosa. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
