She was predeceased by: her parents, Mariano Hernandez and Teodora Hernandez. She is survived by: her husband Mario Contreras; her children, Juan Antonio Contreras, Leticia Contreras (Josue Montemayor) and Jorge Contreras; and her brothers, Faustino Hernandez, Arturo Hernandez, Jose Luis Hernandez, Armando Hernandez, Jose Afredo Hernandez and Mario Alberto Hernandez. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Chapels (1401 E Santa Rosa Ave, Edcouch, TX 78538). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Anahuac Community Cemetery.
