He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Roman and Maria Matilde Roman; and his brothers, Virgilio Roman and Santiago "Jimmy" Roman. He is survived by: his siblings, Ruben Roman (Elida), Vidal Roman and Yolanda Mendoza. He is also survived by his 15 nephews and nieces.
