She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvador Martinez and Cruz Martinez; her husband Hector Marez; and her siblings, Jose Francisco Martinez, Leovigildo Martinez, Arnulfo Martinez, Erlinda Martinez Molina and Maria Del Socorro "Suki" Garcia.

She is survived by: her children, Hector Marez, Jr., Carlos Marez, Guadalupe Iris Jessee (Seth) and Crystal Marez Huerta (Juan, Jr.); and her siblings, Frances M. Diaz, Dominga M. Perez, Eva Martinez, Cruz Maria Castellano, Maria Elena Garza and Adan Martinez. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
