She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Muñoz and Alicia Muñoz; her daughter Yvonne "Bonnie" Tamez; and her sister Mary Jane Muñoz. She is survived by: her husband Carlos Tamez; her children, Carlos Tamez, Jr. (Esther Salinas), Omar Tamez (Melissa), Johnny Tamez (Belen) and Vanessa Hernandez (Chris); and her siblings, Rodolfo "Rudy" Muñoz and Dora Muñoz Zapata. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
