She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Concepcion Cardoza, Oscar Cardoza and Manual "Meme" Ramirez; and her uncle Oscar Cardoza, Jr.. She is survived by: her parents, Osvaldo Cardoza and Alicia Cardoza; her husband Michael Garcia; her children, Michael Liam, Julian Moises and Leah Andrea; and her sisters, Karina Cardoza, Lisa Cardoza, Sara Lozano (Leo), Selina Martinez (Drew) and Rebecca Perez (Tony). She is also survived by seven nephews, six nieces, and one great-niece.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Chapels (1401 E Santa Rosa Ave, Edcouch, TX 78538). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church (200 Salazar St, Edcouch, TX 78538). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Park (6705 N Farm, To Market).
