She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabriel Guerra and Eustolia Guerra; her husband German Cardenas, Sr.; her son Homero "Buddy" Cardenas; and her siblings, Pedro Guerra, Antonia Munoz, Aida Contreras, Marta Gonzalez and Maria Estelle Guerra.
She is survived by: her children, German Cardenas, Jr. (Norma), Eduardo Cardenas, Juan Cardenas (Priscilla), Rosa Lara (Alfredo), Alma Flores (Marcos), Linda Benavidez (Johnny) and Mellissa Cardenas; her siblings, Rene Guerra, Eufemio Guerra (Lucy), Gabriel Guerra, Ricardo Guerra (Alicia), Ramiro Guerra (Juanita), Baldemar Guerra and Maria Alicia Reyes (Victor); and her siblings-in-law, Alicia Guerra, Oliver Munoz and Juan Gonzalez. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces.
