He is survived by: his wife Cathy Davis of Ector, Texas; his children, David Earl Davis of Minnesota, John David Holman (Susanna) of Ector, Charles Tracy Davis (Amanda) of Ector, Texas, Latosha Flowers (Max) of Ravenna, Stephanie Hibbetts (Larry) of San Antonio, Stacie Davis of Colbert, Lisa Preston (Kyle) of Ector, Jessica Eaches (Donald) of Bonham, Jennifer Sampson (Walter) and Brandie Webb of Louisiana; and his siblings, Norman Davis of Whitewright, Texas, Marilyn LaVergne of Bonham, Hazel Davis of Oklahoma and Jennifer Campbell of Tulsa. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
