He is survived by: his children, Claudette Westmoreland (Rodney), Joseph Pegues (Keysha), Austin Pegues (Shanda), Kimberly Reese (Rolando), Melinda Houston (Jerry), Mandy Pegues, Billy Pegues, Jr. (Keisha), Robert Pegues and Jacqueline Pegues; and his siblings, Calvin Pegues (Isalde), Rufus Pegues (Louise), Alford Ray Pegues, William Pegues (Teresa), Oliver Pegues (Irene), Roger Leo Pegues, Richard Lee Pegues and Margaret Wallace (A. C.). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
