He was predeceased by: his parents, Eulan Lee and Hettie Ione Dennis (Thompson); his siblings, Richard and Jo Ward; and his son Joe.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughter Angela Lambert (Larry); his daughter-in-law Joyce; his sister-in-law Rose Mary Dennis; and his stepchildren, Damon Wehr (Marie), Jeffrey Wehr (Amy) and Andrew Wehr (Erica). He is also survived by His nieces, nephews and cousins.
