He was predeceased by: his parents, James Maxwell and Julia Maxwell; his wife Kathleen Maxwell (Dorothy Maxwell); his son David; his daughter-in-law Sandy Eberly; and his brothers, J. M. Maxwell (Wanda), Elzie Maxwell (Dorothy), Bert Maxwell (Sibyl) and Calvin Maxwell (Christine).
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen "Kathy" Kincheloe and Vivian Lee Sayre (Frank); his grandchildren, Jim Eberly, Arthur Lee Sayre, Julia Marie Sayre and Eric Kincheloe (Caroline); his great grandchild Kennedy Kincheloe; his daughter Dr. Paddy Wiesenfeld; and his sisters, Faye Bond (L. D.), Inez Devenport (A. L.) and Grace Lynn Maxwell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
