It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clista Sue Garrett (Eastland, Texas), born in Carbon, Texas, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Erra Adna Phelps Byrd and Moley Hastings Byrd; her husband Kenneth Glenn Garrett; and her siblings, Lorraine, Emma Lou, Betty and Jack.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Phillips (Mike); her brother Roy Hastings "Buddy" Byrd; her grandchildren, Andy Garrettt Wright (Jennifer), Dawn Michelle Phillips (Greg Bloodsworth) and Micah Chance Phillips; and her great grandchildren, McKenna Merklin and Tristan Whiteman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
