With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sophie Korenek (East Bernard, Texas), who passed away on April 27, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Matej and Mary Matej; her husband Felix Korenek; her sons, David and John; and her son-in-law Louis Srubar.

She is survived by: her children, Rita Jochec (Mark), Jackie Dusek (Eugene), Judy Srubar and Bill Korenek (Tammy). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
