He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Sliva and Eleanor Rohan Sliva; his wife Georgie; his brother Delbert Sliva; and his brother-in-law Robert W. Carson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Nelva Carson of Richmond, Georgia Butler (Willy) of Sweeny and Ben Sliva (MaryAnn) of Richmond; his children, Ronnie Sliva of East Bernard, Kenneth Sliva (Donna) of Inez, Sharon Svoboda (Robert) of Sealy and Debbie Zapalac (Elvis) of East Bernard; his grandchildren, Christine Mikolajczyk (Paul), Dustin Sliva (Tara), Ashley Cranley (Matt), Wesley Sliva, Claudia Zapalac, Cheyenne Sliva, Elijah Zapalac and Emma Zapalac; and his great grandchildren, Paul Mikolajczyk and James Cranley.
