She was predeceased by: her parents, Luke Cortemelia and Barbara Cortemelia (Seigle); and her grandparents, Lee, Lena Cortemelia, John and Martha Seigle.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Thompson; her stepson Eric Thompson (Dana); her daughter Rebecca Schmidt (Craig); her grandchildren, Lilly Thompson, Joe Luke Petrenella, Jr. and Brooke Petrenella; her sister Maxine DeRouen (Lloyd); her sister-in-law Mary Shifflet; her niece Crystal Just (Chuck); her nephew Dustin DeRouen (Lizzy); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Presley, Jackson Just, Stockton and Renley DeRouen.
