With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jesse Joe Tovar of East Bernard, Texas, born in Waelder, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Juaquin Tovar and Damiana Tovar; and his brothers, Joe and Gabriel. He is survived by: his wife Amadita "Amy"; his daughters, Sheila (Kenneth Bohacek), Carolyn (Steven McGuire) and Emily Whittenburg; his grandchildren, Justin, Peyton McGuire, William Bohacek, Boone and Gus Whittenburg; and his siblings, Domingo Tovar, Gloria Calderon, Ray Tobar, Dora Martinez, Rudy Tovar, Anita Ramos and Juaquin "Biscuit" Tovar.
