He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Griffin and OmaLee Griffin; his former wife Lou Biggs Griffin; his stepson Jerry Stetler; his brothers, William Raymond and Odis Lacy; and his wife Evelyn.
He is survived by: his daughter Brenda; his son-in-law Pat Bowker; his grandson Jeffrey (Crystal Pope); and his great grandchildren, Brady and Cameron. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
