He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Lopez and Guadalupe Lopez; his wife Adelia Lopez; and his sons, Adolph and David Lopez.

He is survived by: his children, Cornelio Lopez, Jr. (Rosie), Pete Lopez, Frank Lopez, Joe Lopez, Robert Lopez (Ofelia), Gilbert Lopez, Rosie Hussan (Ahmed), Guadalupe Flores and Audrey Luna (Martin). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
