It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Lynn Bucek (East Bernard, Texas), born in Wharton, Texas, who passed away on July 21, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Bucek and Carrie Schattel Bucek; his brother Joseph; and his son-in-law Samuel Rosen. He is survived by: his former wife Henrietta Matej; his wife Charlotte Bucek of East Bernard; his children, Pat Shaw (Glenn) of Sugar Land, Joan Grudziecki (Eugene) of Rosenberg, Monica Rosen of Dallas, Chris Bucek of East Bernard, Chuck Bucek of East Bernard, Todd Pilcik of Bay City and Michael Pilcik of East Bernard; his grandchildren, Robert Shaw, Jennifer Alexander (Tim), Ashley Rosen and Anthony Bucek; his great grandchildren, Joshua Voges, Natalie Shaw and Mackenzie Alexander; and his siblings, Carolyn Bucek, Edwin Bucek (Margaret), David Bucek (Janie), Timothy Bucek and Michael Bucek (Johnnie Sue). He is also survived by his parents and first wife.
