He was predeceased by: his parents, Aristeo Cardenas and Juanita Cardenas; and his siblings, Josie Balderas and Bobby Cardenas. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Cardenas; his children, Anthony Cardenas (Nina), Eddie Cardenas (Brianna), Laura Cardenas (Ricardo) and Denise Rios; his grandchildren, Jacob, Klarissa, Paisley, Xavier, Aubriella and Izabella; and his siblings, Mel Cardenas, Joe Cardenas, Tina Contreras and Teresa Mireles. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
