It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Fuentes of Earth, Texas, born in Pearsall, Texas, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Fuentes and Nicanora Fuentes (Gonzalez); his wife Julia Bustamante; his sons, Ricardo Fuentes and Joe Fuentes Jr.; his sisters, Trinidad Palacio and Juanita Fuentes; his grandson Matthew Fuentes; and his brother Pedro Fuentes.
He is survived by: his children, Guadalupe Fuentes of Earth, Ramon Fuentes (Beatrice) of Dimmitt, Robert Fuentes (Sylvia) of Earth, Texas, Delia Martinez of Earth, Stella DeLeon (Pete) of Earth, Lydia Gonzalez of Edinburg and Janie Fuentes of Earth, Texas; and his daughter-in-law Jobita Fuentes. He is also survived by his 23 grandchildren; his 54 great-grandchildren; and his 6 great-great-grandchildren.
