He was predeceased by: his father Daniel; and his sister Beatriz Salinas. He is survived by: his mother Petra Garcia Sr. (Tristan); and his siblings, Celsa Chacon of Earth, Valentina Garcia of Earth, Maria Alvarez of Earth, Sandy Jimenez of Earth, Texas, Edward Garcia (Judy) of Dimmitt, Daniel Garcia Jr. (Janie) of Earth and Felix Garcia (Patsy) of Earth, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
