In the sacred silence of farewell, Verna Jean is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Verna Jean's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond McCoy; her son Don McCoy (Melissa); her granddaughter Amanda Gardner (Shayne); her great grandchildren, Jackson of Dallas and Charlie Gardner of Dallas; and her granddaughter Emily McCoy (Jeff House) of Charlotte.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the EastLawn Memorial Park (1921 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scottish Rite for Children - Dallas, Texas, Coggin Avenue Baptist Church - Brownwood, or a charity of your choice.
