He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Simpson and Zora Simpson; his son James Wesley; his siblings, Bill, Martha, Jakie and Don; and his son-in-law Jeff Powers.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Bramlet of Blanket, TX.; his children, Staci Powers of Zambia, Kristi Jarvis (Will) of Spearman and Brad Simpson (Lisa) of Early, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Jessica Livingston (Ryan), Matthew Jarvis (Audrey), Richard Jarvis, Daniel Jarvis, Jake Simpson and Taylor Simpson. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the International Mission Board (http://www.imb.org) (specifically the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering if desired.).
