He was predeceased by: his parents, J. S. Hampton and Barnie Hampton (White); his wife June Hampton; his son Michael Hampton; and his siblings, Garnetta Edwards, Mary Jane Jackson, Charles Hampton, Glen "Jiggs" Hampton, H. P. Hampton and Douglas Hampton.
He is survived by: his daughter Ronda Toeppich of Early; his grandsons, Judd Toeppich (Brandi) of Comanche, Wade Hampton of Bangs and Emmett Hampton of Austin; and his great grandchild Myla Toeppich of Comanche. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Eastlawn Memorial Park (1921 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802).
The family requests that memorials be made to the Early Methodist Church, 1073 Early Blvd, Early, 76802 or to a favorite charity.
