He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Thames. He is survived by: his pet JJ Brownwood; his wife Sher Thames; his son Tony Schalk (Carol) of Littleton Colorado; his grandchildren, Lexus Pierce (Jonathan), Samina, Justin, Prax Schalk of Littleton Colorado and Deven Vaden of Las Vegas; his great grandchild Kian Vaden of Las Vegas; his father Robert R. Thames, Jr.; and his siblings, Joe Thames (Stacy), Jacque Cain (Gary) and Lynda James (John) of Midland, Texas.. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Donations may be given in honor of Bob to the American Diabetes Association.
