She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Lee and Ida Artee Murphy; her husband Larry D. Hardy; her sister Wilma Lemmons; her nephews, Ricky Barnes, Rance Barnes and Kent Lemmons; and her brothers-in-law, Harvey Barnes, Fred Lemmons and Wesley Richardson.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelly Denise Hardy; her granddaughter Morgan Ilgenfritz; her great grandchild Iris Gray Danae Martin; and her sisters, Nelda Barnes and Marcy Richardson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the May First Baptist Church (18955 Cunningham St, May, TX 76857).
