She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Eugene Wade and Thelma Hill Wade; her husband Walter A. Schumann; her daughter Marceta Schumann Sims; her grandson Jahfanie Allen; and her siblings, Juanita Wade Huckabee, Mae Dell McBurney and Charles E. Wade.
She is survived by: her son Grant Schumann (Nathalie) of Berkeley, California; her sisters, Vallie Marie Carson of Modesto, Musette Snapp (Ben) of Early and Evelyn Merrifield of Lake Brownwood; her niece Wanda Jo Ethridge of Gatesville; and her stepdaughters, Janet Harlow (Archie) of Brady and Janice Baldwin of Dallas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Miles Cemetery.
