With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elbert Shipman (Early, Texas), who passed away on September 7, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Shipman and Nancy Ann Shipman; his wife Claudia Janette Shipman; and his stepsons, Larry Burleson and Dan Burleson.
He is survived by: his sons, Harold Shipman and Robert Shipman (Roberts); his stepson Jimmy Burleson (Jimmys); and his daughter Dena Thatcher (Denas). He is also survived by grandsons, granddaughters as well as great-grandchildren.
The family wishes that any and all donations be made to the Sunset Ridge Church of Christ in Brady, Texas.
