He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Barber and Lula Barber; and his son-in-law David Lansford. He is survived by: his spouse Lucellia Robertson; his children, Lenda Lansford, Larry Barber (Dawne), Rick Barber (Brenda) and Cindy Gray (Danny); his great great grandchildren, Brandy Adams (Jason), Ricky Barber (Lithia), Brady Barber, Ashley Tooley (Jon), Brittany Martinez (Jesse), Chris Lansford (Sarah), Sieven Taylor, Daniel Gray III (Lauren), Megan Hunt (Kaegan) and Allison Gray; and his brother Jim Bob Barber of Tulsa, Oklahoma.. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
