It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anastacio Herrera of Early, Texas, born in Bryan, Texas, who passed away on June 6, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Herrera and Lupita Herrera; his siblings, John, Moses, Richard Herrera, Eunice Bosquez and Molly Grimaldo; and his children, Elizabeth Herrera and Sonny Casarez.

He is survived by: his wife Julia Herrera; his children, Andy Jr. (Anna Herrera), James (Virginia Herrera), Patty (Juan), Mary Herrera, Molly (Richard Holloway), Staci Vasquez, Stephanie (Virgil Ponce) and Shelli (Wyatt Davenport); his grandchildren, James III, Sydney, Lizzie, Garrett, John, MariElena, Hunter, Jackie, Margaret, Quentin, Esteban, Andy III and Emily; and his great great grandchildren, Juliana, Lucy, Christian, Gabriella, Adalynn, Annalise, Jaxtyn, Zane, Aubrey, Ace, Mason and Gianna.
