Francisca (Galan) Ortega Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother Francisca (Galan) Ortega (Eagle Pass, Texas), who passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 69. Our mother was loved by many in and around her community. She loved playing Mexican bingo, cards, knitting, crafting and scavenging for treasures at Garage Sales. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years and their 7 children, 12 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 3 sisters and 1 brother. She is preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother. We will miss her advice and her dancing at family functions. We love you, Mom! A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 17th 2021 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Yeager Barrera Mortuary (1613 Del Rio Boulevard, Eagle Pass, Texas 78852).
