It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathryn Myres (Eagle Lake, Texas), who passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cathryn Myres to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Susie Bartley Smith and Noah C. Smith (Cotton); her brother Noah; and her sister-in-law Louise Smith of Alabama. She is survived by: her children, Susan Myres (John Uri), John Myres (Laura Myres) and James Myres; and her grandchildren, Shelly Morales (Pops Morales), Hunter Myres (Kelsey Andrejczak), Cathryn Myres and Alexandra Uri.
In lieu of flowers, if you are so inclined, the family requests donations to be made in her memory to Rice Medical Center Employee Volunteers, P. O. Box 277, Eagle Lake, Texas, whose care attention provided so much support to the family and the ability to spend unlimited time with her in light of all of the COVID-19 challenges facing our community.
