She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Jones and Helen Evans (Brewer); and her siblings, Barbara Cook, James Brewer (Sonny), David Allen and Kenneth Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Elder Thomas C. Bryant, Jr.; her children, Derrick Fleming, Erick Fleming, Tia Pettis (Damone) and Ebonee Bryant; her grandsons, Elijah Pettis and Aaron Pettis; and her siblings, Mable Cauther (Arthur), Cecelia Thomas (Melvin), Robert Allen (Zaldwaynaka), Charles Allen (Kim), Patrick Allen, Michael Allen, Gregory Jones and DeAngelo Allen. She is also survived by caregiver for her grandchildren, father and later her mother-in-law.
