It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Louise Jaffe (Duncanville, Texas), born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on May 18, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Joe Jaffe; her parents, Doug Freeman and Girdna Freeman (Frank); her brothers, Jack Freeman and Wayne Freeman; and her son-in-law David Houston.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Houston of Bokchito, Oklahoma, Mark (Beverly Jaffe) of Hamilton, Texas, Roger (Malea Jaffe) of Midlothian, Texas and Amy Shaw of Arlington, Texas.; her sister-in-law Patsy Freeman of Picayune, Mississippi.; her grandchildren, Ginger (Brad Ballard), Julianne Halliday, Heather Inouye, Cameron (Katrina Houston), Eron (Carrie Houston), Jessica Jaffe, Geanie (Kevin Litzman), Jacob (Danni Jaffe), Joshua (Alexandria Jaffe), Sarah Jaffe, Kate Shaw and Mason Shaw; and her nephews, Jay Freeman, Clay Freeman, Matt Freeman, Daniel Freeman and Drew Freeman.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of DeSoto or the DeSoto Food Pantry.
